How I finally fix the bluetooth :)

Hi guys,

Firstable, this solution has been tested on UMI PLUS E .

I had the hypothesis that a previous update may break the bluetooth protocol.

In order to verify this theory, I decided to erase all the phone thanks to this tutorial : http://community.umidigi.com/thread-11232-1-1.html . Actually, doing this make a "clean install" of the rom and not a "dirty flash" like we are doing with the traditional update by the Wi-Fi.

120 days later, I can confirm that the bluetooth is finally working. Indeed, the car can pair the phone without any problem & the Xiaomi mi band 2 can vibrate by bluetooth, too.

I'm not a developper ! So if you want to do the same thing, take care because I'll be not able to help you.

There is maybe a easier solution : make a "factory reset". This is waaaay easier to do and maybe it's working, too ! But I have not tested it, so if you do, thanks to come back and tell us the result

WARNING !!! ==> The 2 solutions that I mentioned will erase ALL you data ! So make a backup of everything (picture, camera, sms, calls, contacts, etc.)

Mine is working good, just having some issues with my car with music that sometimes just freezes for some seconds (sometimes 5 sec, sometimes even minutes I have to deactivate and reactivate bluetooth to make it work).

How about mobile network connection?
On my PLUS E, my bluetooth connection is af, also mobile network is af, i can get calls/sms/mms is working but if in want to get mobile network i have to send mms to get the connection, how is urs? does it work?

Everything is fine since the beginning about the mobile network. It's weird :-/

If get you get any update, it's maybe broken like my bluetooth was, so you can try a clean install (ou reset factory)

If you do this and the problem is still there, so I think it's probably a hardware issue ...

Yea maybe the reset or ur clean install will help, i dont thing it isa hardware issu, because i can get mobile data, but the way is not normal so maybe software issue, seems i have to clean install...
