I own a plus e for a few months now, but when i joined another provider, because i wanted to use the option Volte, i was told that i could not use it.. The provider(Tele2, the Netherlands) said that it won't work because the phone was not on the list.
I also found that  KPN in the netherlands, uses a list as well, the same  as certain providers in the UK. Has somebody Volte working, or do you need additional software from Umidigi to make it work, and an understanding between manufacturer
and provider.

It is network related, and they won't use android settings.

In UK, I know mine won't work with the 2 networks I have sims for.

Not Umi fault, rather the greedy networks who will only enable the settings for the phones they sell.

To be honest forget. To use VoLTE is more complicated then you think. In my country Slovakia support 4 providers mayby 10 devices together! Each device must be updated by operator with special firmware and saved to list. This technology by this way is dead! Even iPhone 6 is not supported, only some few models of flagships Samsung. Sorry forget and enjoy others technology like 4G+ LTE supported by this device. If VoLTE will  not be supported easy way like for example MMS with ease APN setup way then never ever VoLTE will be massive. Whole VoLTE is one big fail.

SMS trying to activate VoLTE by SMS...

Depending on the customer, it is not possible to establish a VoLTE service for this phone number. Activation of the service may be the earliest 1 hour after the operating system update on your mobile phone. For a list of supported mobile phones, visit www.telekom.sk/wiki/ostatne/volte Telekom

But that is the point, if all providers use a list of restricted phone's Umidigi cannot use Volte as a selling point, it is quite useless than.

Thats true. Hundreds of hundread producers cannot be supported. Your provider probably know nothing about UMI. Try to explain somewhere to customer support about UMi
For 100% sure they will listen about mark UMI first time. Once again, until this technology is not supported easy like 1-2-3 then you can dream about VoLTE.

Phone is supporting VoLTE that why is advertised with this feature. This is not umidigi fault if network provider won't activate this feature etc on your phone.
