Update to Nougat, worth it?

Hi everyone,

I am a happy owner of UMI Plus (only with Marshmallow) since more than 6 months, now because of lack of memory I decided to back up and reset the phone.

I am wondering if it is worth it to update the phone to Android Nougat or if it's better to leave Marshmallow? What are the pro and cons? I am asking because I have been reading several threats on this forum related to the OS update problems.

Definitely not. Do NOT update. Read a bit in the forum and you will convince yourself. I sold mine because i updated to Android 7. Couldn't revert and the battery lasted for about 12h, no GPS, etc.
It charges fast, but constant CPU usage at 50% leads to heating and heating damages the battery in time, which, as seen in other devices, swells and breaks the display.
NO UPDATE

Stay on 6! Unless you break the screen, replacements only seem to work on 7...

If you use bluetooth in car or auricular, stay in 6.

If it works for the Plus as good as for the Z than: DON'T UPDATE! Umi should do a bit more homework before.

If you want stable connections, aka bluetooth, wifi, definitly stay in 6. The phone has already problems enough (like gps etc). You don't need/want the extra issues when going to Nougat. Believe me. UMI does not provide any updates to solve the excisting problems. Just bringing new phones to the market with new issues.

(this seems to be a flatter screen than original)

New touchscreen doesn't seem to be responding correctly.
