Hello all,

I have the UMI SUper updated to Android 7.0 and I have tried to follow the root process explained in the link below:

http://community.umidigi.com/for ... &fromuid=257807

After flashing the TWRP_3.02_UMI_Super.img the touch screen went crazy and I could not finish the whole process.

I read a lot of threads and I´ve tried a lot of things but the touch screen still crazy and I´m not able to even enter to the Android OS.

Is there any fix for this? How can I recover the original calibration per default? I´m sure that the hardware should be ok becuase it was before doing anything...

Thanks in advance!

hi, I replace recently the screen of umi super, after that proximity sensor stop working. I try to c ...

This thread is about umi plus not super.
You can use OTG Wire, computer mouse and perform factory reset after rebooting phone. Also you can clear cache, eMMC or factory reset from factory/recovery menu. To get there you need power off your device then press power and volume down until phone will get to factory mode use volume up down to choose proper option and press home button to highlight option. Recover mode is power button with volume up.
If this not help you need use SPFT and flash original recovery partition or simply flash full ROM.

You probably flashed the wrong TWRP version. There are at least two versions, for different versions of the touch digitizer hardware.

Hello Mats, thanks for the answer. Do you know how can I check what hardware I have and what TWRP I need?

I´ve tried what Wolfspell told me and it worked! Now I recovered my touch screen, MANY THANKS!

The question now is what did I wrong ? I followed the instructions here:

http://community.umidigi.com/for ... &fromuid=257807

How can I update the latest ROM (20170413_c239v55_kw_u1) for fixing the GPS issue without having these problems?

Thanks!
