Hi all, I need to change SMS alphabet encoding from Unicode to 7-bit because my greek character SMSs have a limit of 70 characters. Where do I do that in UMI Super with Android 7 Nougat on? THanks

If you stop using special letters etc then you will be able type up to 160 signs in each text / SMS

yeah, problem is I want to write SMS in Greek alphabet so I need to be able to switch to 7-bit encoding for SMS text. There always was a setting for this in previous Android phones I had, can't find it in this one.

Sorry but I don't remember such settings and definitely is not existing in stock SMS app. Maybe go to play store and download some third party SMS app with this function.

yeah, did that and downloaded Android Messages https://play.google.com/store/ap ... messaging&hl=en , the new default SMS messages app by Google and there's an option for simple characters in advanced settings :-)
