Random shutdown now won't turn on

I have had my umi super for about 6 months and and still run android 6 as everything has been great until today, my phone was at 90% when it just turned off and when I restarted it won't go passed the umi screen and just turns off again, I have tried to charge it but I get the battery icon screen and than it just keeps turning off and it's the same when I plug it in my computer it keeps connecting than disconnecting over and over again, I have opened it and checked the battery but I can't tell if it's bad or not as it looks ok. I'm guessing it's the battery but can anyone help me identify the problem?

Did you try disconnect the battery ?

Yeah I disconnected the battery but it didn't help got the same problem

The first thing to try when all else fails is a factory reset...

I can't do factory reset as the phone keep turning off at the umi screen I can't get to recovery either

I have tried that but the phone wont stay connected to the pc it keeps connecting then disconnecting on a loop

Hmmmm
Please keep your phone switched off.
Then set computer, SPFT, driver etc
Press download on SPFT
Then plug in phone to your computer (also you can disconnect battery as SPFT doesn't need battery)
After that keep your phone switched off
Plug phone to charger and charge for few hours.
Then start phone

Thanks for the idea, when I get home I will remove the battery and try this
