Hi everyone!I have a Umi super that I bought less than 1 month ago. Today, after I plug the charger my phone just suddenly shut down. Since that I can't turned on again. I tried to press the power button with the volume buttons, trying to do a hard reset, but nothing works, nothing happens! Even if I try to plug the charger the red light on the bottom doesn't appear. So it is not charging. Can someone help me? Thanks!

I take it the phone and the charger had both been working correctly up to this point?

The "one size fits all" solution in cases like this is to flash latest release ROM using the SPFT Tool. This will wipe your phone, so you'll have to start over installing apps and stuff.

Yes they had been working perfect until this yesterday. This happened suddenly.

Mats is right. This happened to me a few days ago and it solved the problem.

Hi
Here is SPFT instruction
http://community.umidigi.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=11
But please skip step 6th as in this situation you need write all partitions.
If this doesn't help you need change firmware upgrade option to format + download but after this you need rewrite IMEI numbers with SN writer from this link
http://community.umidigi.com/thread-1375-1-1.html
All ROMs are available here
http://community.umidigi.com/forum-134-1.html
Te latest one is android 7.0 version.

Edited by askarim at 2017-1-29 02:01 \n\nI think I have the same problem as you. Its obvious that if the phone does not turn on something is broken and if the led light dosent turn on the phone isint charging. The problem is not in operation system.

Hi there, same problem here!

My UMI Super just died...

Battery full charged, and it won't switch on... i've tried hard reset... nothing!

When I connect it to the charger the led turns red for some seconds then just disappears...

I'm stuck here... what can I do?
