UMI PLUS E: I love this phone.
GPS works perfectly !!!!!
I have a problem with the car-bluetooth:
- Pairing works well;
- Music (Spotify or Google Play Music) starts and flows both on the phone and on the car-display;
- But there is NO SOUND!
What can I do?
Best regards from Italy.

Same problem. Bluetooth working in Spotify but it not possible to have a phone call. The menu where you decide what Bluetooth shall work for, has tree choices: telephone / mediasound / contacts.  In the box where you chose "telephone", its not possible to check "telephone". I've tried several Bluetooth devices with the same result.

Also, when streaming Spotify in my car, the music stops after a short time. This happens shortly after the screen goes of. Like ther might be an kind of powersave closing down streaming..

the problem is the same :
pairing BT -> OK
playing music -> OK

on the bluetooth panel preference, the phone is not checked ( multimedia and contact yes ) , and i can't check in

I had this problem on my Plus (not E). You will find that the volume is turned-down - this menu option is only available when making or receiving a call. Increase the volume when in a call and the volume sliders have a Bluetooth option!

Please connect your phone to Bluetooth device and then press volume button. Maybe there is hidden volume settings. Try increase volume.
Could you try update your Bluetooth device too. A lot car radio doesn't support latest phones software and maybe you have this problem too .

Ok, i'll try that.
Probably the car device is too old.
With the home-stereo bluetooth is fine.
Thanks

Hi, i have the same probleme with my new UMI + E
phone is up2date ( UMIDIGI Plus E V3.02_20170216 )
...

I have the same exact problem. I can't choose the speak transfer in the bluetooth settings. I have to restart my phone, go to settings/bluetooth and turn it on and then i can choose the speak transfer. But it doesn't hold up for when i leave my car. This i making the phone hard love and recomend to others. I have new 2016 Jeep Renegade with Uconnect and brand new updates and I got an update for my Umi Plus E,  16 Feb. It reads V3.02_20170216. This is got to get fixed...............

Edited by gosuoets at 2017-3-2 21:48 \n\nSame here. I have tried 4 different BT headsets (Bose QuietComfort 35, Bose Soundsport, Jabra EVOLVE 65 and Jabra ELITE Sport) which works perfectly on other phones. Only media (music) works on UMi Plus E. When you choose "Telephone" under Bluetooth settings, it automaticly unchecks itself within half a second.

Playing music through them kinda works on Plus E if you hold your phone in clear view from the headset, like within 1meter..The connection is really unstable and has poor quality in comparison to Samsung S6 Edge and Huawei P8 Lite tested with same headsets.

Literally unusable.
