Edited by Thommy69 at 2016-8-16 16:35 \n\nMeanwhile, I am very disappointed with what I got at UMI quality for my money . GPS bad settled disconnect the sim  card and now also the problem with the display . Addition there are now the cost of the return for the phone . That was my first and last UMI phone .

My suggestion is to use a hairdryer to soften up the loca under the glass, see if press on the screen and then put it under a uv light nail dryer.
Keep in mind that heating can be dangerous (special being metal)  and thus make sure the phone is off and completely cooled down internally. Off for 20mins
Don't press too hard and be very careful. This screen (digitizer and glass) is cheap and weak. U may be able to see the improvement happening but don't get your hopes up.
The UV Nail light is to harden the glue. Not needed but may help. Also direct sunlight for like 5 mins will do the same.

This may not yield huge results. It makes sense why a little screen crack ruins touch on these phones. Umi placed way to thin a layer of loca glue between the glass and digitizer.

Blöde Frage, aber hat dein Handy vielleicht geschwitzt? Ich meine das ernst. So das Kondenzwasser eindringen konnte.  (Temp. schwankungen)
So habe ich das schon mal gesehen.
LG und viel Glück  (kann dir mit jedem Handy passieren wenn es zum schwitzen kommt)

Nein, definitiv nicht. Auch haben sich die "virtuellen Tasten" eingebrannt

Has your phone been in the sun for a prolonged period of time?   I know this sounds like a long shot but you could try a hairdryer on the screen to remove activate the adhesive?  You may damage your phone if not done properly but it's something I would try.

Have you used any screen protection or cases?
