Z2 PRO low signal wifi ROM or bad UMIDIGI DEVICE?

Hi to all,
i've bought a z2 pro with ROM 20180823.

I m asking if this low and bad signal wifi (mostly 2.4ghz but also 5.0 ghz) is z2 pro bad quality fault or is a rom problem?

I just bought this phone, and my wifi keeps breaking. Absolutely annoying.
This was to replace my Huawei p10 lite, which had a brilliant signal and never dropped connection.

Can Umidigi or someone come up with a solution? If my 100 pound less Huawei copes brilliantly, why can't this phone do so?
I am probably at breaking point. This phone has good performance, good battery life and a great screen, but ********************** wifi!

That's the same ROM I'm using.
At this point, I'd say it's possible it's a combination of a poor quality device and bad programming.
I really want to like this phone...

I want to like this phone so bad, but with this phone constantly drop its connection, how can i enjoy it.

PLEASE DO SOMETHING UMIDIGI, THIS THREAD MUST BE FLAGGED AS FLAMY HOT!

I have the same problem.... along with the microphone not working during phonecalls... :/

As mentioned in other threads, same problem here - garbage wifi.

A phone 1/4 of the price performs excellently with strong connection and good speed but the Umidigi Z2 Pro can't even get a signal in my office.

Is this a rom problem, is it a fault or a complete design flaw where the metal back of the phone interfering with the signal?

I have bad wifi signal and my 4G signal is rubbish, only getting 2mbs download whereas my daughter gets over 50mbs with her iphone. Also the microphone is bad as well. Very disappointed.

Hello to the whole forumas per topic I have a problem with the z2 prodoes not save my datait doesn't save anything neither app nor settingsevery time I reset it returns to its initial statethe only thing that is saved is the gmail accountI tried to make a wipe data but nothingI tried to load a newer firmware following the guide in this forum but nothingI do not know what to do...the firmware installed UMIDIGI_Z2_PRO_V1.0_20180823 but it doesn't tell me anything elsein fact I can't understand what version is mountedin the update section it tells me that UMIDIGI_Z2_PRO_V1.0_20180823_20180926-1646 must dodoes anyone know what i can do?thank you
