1. You got this photo from an Aliexpress seller. Please, disassemble your phone and match.
2. Sony supplies the camera sensor only but not the lens, the case housing and the ribbon cable. The ribbon cable is designed specifically for the motherboard used in the phone. Here is a photo of the IMX214 camera sensor supplied by SONY:

P.s.: Dear user friend, Please, stop spreading rumors here. Thank you.

Dear bencebacsi!

Can you ask an official statement about my finding about camera hardware?

I can confirm that the sensor in the iron is not an IMX214 but an OV13850.
I don't know if this sensor better or worse.
It doesn't have built in noise reduction like IMX214 but has Automatic black level calibration and Lens shading correction.

The lens driver is a DW9718AF.

The front camera is a 5 mega-pixel OV5670

I can share the device boot log to see it yourself.

There is a way, but since UMI doesn't share the source code, only they can improve.

Things to improve:
- One thing he could do is to built in the lens color correction to the driver.
- Also they could modify the exposure parameters to not underexpose every picture with flash.
- They could fix the front camera flash WB.
- Also they should fix the HDR function. The sensor is capable of one shot HDR! And it works in video too. Which seems like doesn't work. And the HDR in the default camera app also doesn't do anything.  (You can shot HDR pictures/video in engineering mode so this will be a driver/software problem)
- The noise will probably remains, but maybe they can adjust some parameter to make the result better. But this is hard to make.

Here you go: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bxi5Y1_K_OXEYUZoT20ycWl6X28
I've made it with LiveBoot and contain dmesg and Dalvik/ART log.

The only mention about IMX214 is these line:

D/ImgSensorDrv(  288): [impSearchSensor]found <0xd850/imx214mipiraw/SENSOR_DRVNAME_OV13850_MIPI_RAW>
D/ImgSensorDrv(  288): [impSearchSensor]MAIN sensor found:[0]/[0x10000]/[0]/[1]

The sensor id 0xd850 is an OV13850 sensor.

And seems like the system loads only OV13850 and OV5670 drivers.

I don't know why they put the OV driver under the imx214mipiraw, maybe they tried to fake an IMX214?

When using the camera through the application engineer mode, the pictures are a little better without noise in them
