I wanted to add that the screen is stl working fine but could this be related to the stripe issue I have been having? I  posted about it in another thread with pictures. I will find the link.

Hi, would it be related to battery issues ? I mean, some people have been experincing some faulty batteries issues that started with weird screen behavior (halo, lines, random artifacts...) then the screen and body were disjoining due to battery swelling and "pushing" on the back face of the screen...

Edited by superhero at 2017-7-24 18:21 \n\nThat is a good point! How can I figure out if it is the battery?

I ain't got a clue...
Any strange behaviour of the battery recently ? Any overheating ?
Are you able to see remaining trace of glue-taping on main frame ?

Im gutted, I just realised my screen was starting to pop out of the frame too.

Edited by superhero at 2017-7-25 06:06 \n\nI wonder if it would be worth a shot to change the battery and stick the screen back down but how hard/easy is this and how easy is it to find a battery for the plus e?

Regarding the behaviour of the battery I haven't noticed it losing charge any more than in the beginning. I  just close open tasks regularly and the battery life is decent. The only odd thing I noticed though was the other day when the phone basically ran out of battery  and suddenly 20 minutes later it came back to life by itself and said it had 20odd per cent left. It was as if it found reserve energy .Very strange... I dont usually let it run to zero so cant say if it was a one off. Other than that it seems fine. I had it on charge earlier and with that the battery got quite warm which made the screen to appear milky. It is back to normal now but still has stripes when on a dark background

You said it. "the battery got quite warm which made the screen to appear milky. It is back to normal now but still has stripes when on a dark background".
Faulty battery. Exactly same stuff than other people here.

Okay maybe I will try and replace the battery myself. My partner has the same phone and hers gets quite warm when charging, too. Last night she played a jigsaw puzzle on it and said it got quite warm. Her screen is fine so far though.

Why do I still have the stripes though even when it is cold? And how would I go about glueing the screen down?
