FolderMount on UMI Iron ?? Does not work for me

Anyone able to get FolderMount to work on the UMI Iron?
I am on ROM 1.6 and it will not work properly. I can create folder pairs and it stores data there - but when I create a new pair - the program will not automatically copy data from the internal storage to the SD card. It seems to not be able to write to the SD card in general.

Any ideas? I e-mailed the developer but not reply yet. Other than that - the phone is workig great.

Do you get an error message from foldermount? Don't you try to move system folders?

Not trying to move system folders just android/data. I am not able to create a new folder from within foldernount. I get an error saying "folder can not be created. Check permissons" or something like that. I have to create folders through the file manager. Foldernount will also not copy over the contents from the existing folder in main storage over to the SD card. If I copy stuff manually though it all seems to work. New data is written to the pinned folder on the SD card. So it seems like there is a problem with foldernount having write permission in the app.

I modified a config file on my device so that any app can write without restriction to the SD card so this is not the problem. Seems like an issue with Foldernount.

How have you done that?
I have a problem that many apps can't save their data to the SD card. Eg.: Podcast Addict, OSMAnd, Here.
I have tried FolderMount with no success.
Anyway I don't think this is a normal behavior for getting access to the SD card.
