Please read the instructions carefully before attempting if you've never done it before. They are available in the ROM section. BE CAREFUL NOT TO FLASH THE LATEST ONE FOR THE 4.4V BATTERY IF YOUR BATTERY HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED.
Alternatively, you can go to recovery mode to do a factory reset. Ensure your have at least 80% (some will say 50%, but the more the merrier in my opinion.)
To go to recovery mode, with the phone off, press and hold volume UP + POWER buttons. When the Umidigi splash screen appears, release power button. When you see the menu, use the Vol UP button to navigate to "Recovery menu". Use the Vol DOWN button to select.
The phone will reboot into recovery menu. You will see a dead Android. At this screen.. Hold POWER button and tap on Vol UP button. Release buttons when the recovery menu appear.
Use the Vol UP and DOWN buttons to navigate the menu to "Factory Reset". Use the POWER button to select.
The phone will reset. Take note it may take some time to complete. Be patient. That's why battery juice must be sufficient.
When it's done, you see the Recovery menu. Select "reboot" with POWER button. Again, it may take some time to boot up.
During these two stages, DO NOT POWER OFF. Be patient..
Do verify my steps by reading other posts in the forum before attempting if you are not sure.
I accept no responsibility if this bricks your phone. But that's what I'll try as last resort unless I'm sending it back to seller for refund/replacement..
Best of luck!
