I'll just be hitting the check for update button every few hrs, u know like I have been for the last few, days, weeks, .... Months!!!

I can't confirm this information as I know nothing about Android 8.
Some details about Bencebacsi are completely fake so I just simply not confirming any informations provided by this user.

1st. April was a long time ago but we still got a funny guy here. Unfortunately I've never been to Poland. ;)
Of course, there's nothing in development about Android 8.
To speak about the facts, the Android 7.1.1 OTA was pushed today but some bugs were found, so it's been removed. I can't tell you an exact date or time now but it's about just a quick fixing, it's not about further weeks of waiting. Please stay tuned.

I'm on the previous update. When the OTA will be pushed, do I will need to do the 11/04 update, then the Nougat update, or OTA will directly propose the Nougat ?

\n\nI call bullshit on that too... Ohh we had it pushed and then more bugs.... Sure! the only thing buggin me is the false hope.. So release it as a beta then, those are buggy.. Of course every release and update has been buggy since day one. So what's the difference... Some of us.. All of us have been waiting almost half a yr, ...

I got the v3.02_20170411 update today (1st JUNE 2017). I can confirm that for me it is a good update. What has changed compared to the v3.02_20170317 are:
1. A more sensitive screen rotation
2. Google assistant is now enabled when I say 'Ok Google' or when I use an earphone to activate Google assistant (but we still cannot activate Google assistant via the home button).
3. I can slide down the notification bar from anywhere on the home screen (no need to reach the top of the phone to slide down the notification bar). BUT one issue with the notification bar is that once pulled down, the background is completely black (it should have been greyed out or tinted as we usually see but now pitch black as seen in the image). But I am sure that UMIDIGI can solve that.

Overall I like the v3.02_20170411 update, good job UMIDIGI on optimising the software. And wait for the update via OTA guys, you might get it soon if not received yet, as well as the Android Nougat (which might take a while though depending on the different region of the globe).

I've been running that same version of 6.0 since April The last part of the version number is the date on or around when it came out. I got it on April 15th... Glad that one DL for u on June 1st. But this post confuses people... As most of us are waiting for the 7.1.1 release... And yes the April 6.0 ( UMIDIGI Z V3.02_20170411 ROM - OTA)release still has a couple issues...

Nice. will get it when its there.
Hope android 7 are not too different from 6, but i doubt thats the case.
