Good night for all, well my UMI Z so far is working well, I believe the solution would be to first correct the bugs already reported by several users of Marshmallow and only then start thinking about Nougat, yes, then, it's no use getting charged for Which will soon release a version and come with so many bugs that it annoys most of us. I see big companies that take 6, 7, 10 months to upgrade to Nougat, so why hurry.
We have is to give credibility to this company, which is new, so they can be honest with all of us. Patience is a virtue.

On Amazon it's advertised (by Umidigi) as "Android 6.0 (Android 7.0 Update OTA)" ... so I expected an available Android 7.0 update when I bought it.

I don't agree with that too simple description you quoted but it still doesn't mean anything available immediately, That's just a promise for the future.

I see it a commitment to update it to 7.0 because some brands don't update the Android version, and buyers are usually interested to know if they're going to receive that update in the future. UMI informed those that it will update to Android 7.0, all it takes now is time. It's not unusual to wait for an update.

Umi Still not received Andoroid 7.0 source code for the Helio X27 platform from MediaTek. as per Umi promise all user will get Andoroid 7.0 by end of april but all ready april is ending time still source code not received form MeadiaTek so UMI will take another 1 month time for getting sorce code form meadiatek then they will start development of the Android 7 ROM its take at least 3weeks of time then they will release beta test if work well without bugs then UMI will release OTA update for all usear. in my point of view UMI will take at at least 2-3 month of time to release Android 7, when UMI is the promise for 7.0 at the time of launching it would to take 2 month but all ready im using sice 3 month but no update. UMI only care about making money but not to Happy customer satisfaction
