Edited by rocha at 2017-3-14 00:56 \n\nI am using this phone as a replacement of an Iphone SE (personal) and a Samsung Galaxy J3 (work), and it makes me sad to have given a chance to UMI because they don't deserve any credit until now. In the past I've bought the Oneplus ONE ans thus being the first phone of that company it was, compared to UMI, simply excellent!

Just sad to trust in a company, and their answers are just utterly useless. Fix the issues! This forum should be full of compliments, and not complaints!

Edited. I'm sorry but I feel like I just took my money and threw it on the garbage bin when I bought this phone.

Hi
The battery apps currently not supporting correct battery current flow /charging reading.
Also please understand that MTK pump express not charging only on 5V but 7/9 and 12V for quick charging and battery apps not showing this reading either.
To test quick charging you need use charging adapter to test voltage and current flow.
If your phone charge on 0.5A so charging time should take minimum 8H.
I am not saying that is everything right with your 5H of charging but only try explain to you that battery apps not supporting correctly this data.

I suppose the charger does what is expected to do.
I have purchased another one original charger, the identical model but in white color.
They both work the same regarding the charging time.
Charging time is average, not even close to what is advertised.
I have compared charging speed between UMI Z and Redmi Note 4 which is not advertised as a fast charging phone (its charger is declared as 5V 2A).
They have both started from 60%. When Redmi reached 100% UMI was at 93%.

Edited by Baki at 2017-3-16 22:01 \n\nFurther update:
After the battery reaches 94% or 95% during the charging the phone reaches 100% within couple of minutes.

After updating to the latest Android 6.0 version, my phone started to drain without using it. It has an average drainage of 23-28% an hour when it's NOT used. Anyone knows how to fix it? I've heard that the next update to Android 7.1.1 comes with a lot of bugs. Is the latest software more stable now? Thanks.
