I bought a Umi Max with the promise that would be ingrained for Android 7.0 in December. This has not happened yet, know that I do not recommend the brand anymore and all the recommendations go to competition.

I presume up to 3 weeks after  MTK supply SDK for P20 SoC to umi engineers.

did anyone managed to root the UMI plus E or installed a working recovery either TWRP or CWM if you did please share with us how to
