I've been an HTC fan for years I'm even an elevate member. HTC also did the same in the past. They've learn not to do it anymore the hard way. They got a lot of negative feedback and now they keep their ETA.

everything was  advertising to sell their 3 models. trying to fool customers. promising something they are not able to do on time

Phone works ok...why bother for updates all the time...WHEN something works don't touch it :-)
I have a samsung note+ tablet...never gets any updates and has ton of bugs, I also had every iphone...with every update it got worst... you should wait for a month or so after some update comes out and then use it anyway

Branding and advertising for gadgets is another thing. Too much of competition causes integrators to promise things they can't keep. worst part is the at some point (dt) you buy a flagship phone and two weeks (dt+2w) later its not the flagship phone anymore (happens every time!!) So the maker is not focusing so much anymore on updates for yours but on the new flagship...haha. Focus guys!

Fingerprint sensor is still too sensitive. Throws itself constantly, although the handy is not touch ...

Just set the fingerprints scanner to off for now maybe umi fixes it with nougat update. My umi runs great (apart from that kind of bugs). Quite happy for the price.
