It looks like the suggested solutions are really non-solutions...   only workarounds  (not working for some ppl)

We are waiting for a firmware fix since the time the PIN security issue has been revealed..  10 days ago, maybe ?

And what about WIFI and Bluetooth weakness ? For the first (and only) day i could use my Z2 PRO, i verified that wifi connection was really poor, just 3 metres away from the router. UMI engineers said glass-made back cover would help in wifi coverage, so..   probably it's another software issue.

Don't want go further, but who was interested in shooting performance, and spent a lot of money to get this 16+8 double camera, has something to complain too.

Nope doesn't work, still eventually get wrong pin error.

I did, working now with Next (Microsoft) Lock, works perfectly fine, 0 Android System Security enabled, but this is not a real solution, this is just a temporary fix (and not a very secure one either), and Umidigi should really up their game for fixing this. It is not in any way acceptable to release a phone with such a major security flaw, and it is even worse to not get a fix out for this like yesterday. I get it that its not easy to solve everything fast, but Umi guys, ffs fix this and do the other with other updates if you cant do all in one go.

I got the same issue that when I reboot my phone my password gets different encryption and I can't access it with my password as it doesn't match saved hash on the phone.
and...
I got another issue when I press volume up and power button I got Chinese menu -.-
How the hell am I suppose to find factory reset there? Also, it looks like that menu has only some kind of hardware tests and information on the operating system. Weird... Is it possible that I was sent a device with diagnostic firmware that was used for testing or something? or is it part of firmware for new androids?

It's yet good to know there's an efficient workaround.

Moderators have said Umi devs have a solution (can't remember which post). I guess they'll release a new ROM when more bugs have been fixed.

I recieved my Z2 Pro and I tryed 3 times to set security without success ... All others is good for now - battery, wi-fi and bluetooth, GSM 3G and 4G maybe weak, but maybe from my place. Please answer if any now: how I can record 4K video? All revues say that this phone can record 4K video...

People keep talking about the security issues but let's not forget the camera, mine doesn't work at all, just crashes.
