This protector is not as thick as the tempered glass protector I had previously (I leave it up to you to decide whether it is still good enough to protect the screen as the manufacturer says compared to tempered glass). So in that respect, it is much nicer to touch the screen than before. However, the overall sensitivity is poor because UMI haven't configured it very well. I installed an app SGS Touchscreen Booster and after tweaking some settings in that the sensitivity/usage of the screen is so much better. It's almost as good as my previous Samsung S4 phone. When I installed the latest update, the sensitivity went poor again, but I uninstalled and reinstalled the SGS app and it became better again.

Hi norstadt,
I also bought and now tested the Brotect Airglass foil you pointed: Yes, it fits and glues well,
but I also see 2 issues with it: on my foil the left border is fine curved "2,5d", but right side is relatively sharp-edged.
My main issue: my phone seems to be irritaded by the missing 3rd cutout for the light/approximity-sensor:
Today I noted the screen turning black and bright changing several times while phoning, as it seems by reflections this 3rd hole for the approximity-sensor should better be cut out!#
- any similar observations?   -- seems a 3-hole cut foil would work more reliable in this aspect!?

I also installed that app to increase the sensitivity of the touchscreen, especially for the original, thick foill and it seems to work ok (the top 2 settings on "all left"

+1 for Max: I  bought original tempered glass protection for MAX but, as You can see from picture, edge does not fit and glass become uplifted and there is always serious risk to take it off.
Is it a bug or did they sold me not original one? (it could be strange because case is original and beautiful).

I have recieved my Umi Max and screen protector is from Umi Super so it does not fit.... i can complain to the seller he may return me money or he can send me the proper one..... so people whos screen protector does not match they probably get screen protector from Umi Super.

Hi!

So, for the last time:

I have had 3 different types all not fitted correctly due to the 2.5 arced glass.
The 9h glass protection hampers with the touch sensitivity also...  So avoid.
My view is don't bother with the glass protection..
