I think mine is also going back for a refund. Beyond belief that it could be released to the public with the 'Wrong Pin' problem....... If they'd even acknowledge the problem and give a timescale for a fix, I'd keep it, but it appears they're not willing to do either of those things....very annoying, as I actually like the phone, but I guess you get what you pay for.

You pay a good amount of money and you expect a problems free good working phone, with that pin issue it is just a useless piece of metal which looks nice but can't do anything without complete flash your phone and never restart it or never set any security method again...It's very bad that they don't update their costumers when they are gonna fix this issue..The only answer you get is flash your phone and don't use any security.

When you are setting up a finger print, pattern or password it asks at first about setting up a secondary pin, pattern or password, or something like that, and I say "NO" then it goes to the next screen that asks for you to enter the pin, pattern or password and you can enter I believe what you want here and that removes that second required password that it asks for when rebooting. I know have my finger print and face lock setup and when I reboot, it asks for my pin and it goes right to the home page. I understand you might want that added security, but I do not believe I have ever had to enter my pin twice before getting to my home screen. So again, when you are setting up a pin pattern or password, just say "NO" to the first request, why would they put "NO" there anyways and allow you to move forward? I hope this helps!!

I received my Z2Pro yesterday, and the mic does not work in any calls. I have done a factory reset and still it does not work.

The mic only works to make a normal voice recording.

Please advise?

i too had that problem, opposite person not hearing my voice . but i hear them well . i tried factory reset, updateed to version 830 . but nothing solves this problem. i dont knw whether the phone got mic ?

I like to add myself as another victim of Z2 Pro.  The issue is the "Wrong pin" again.

Thanks for the Admin's info to wipe the date so that we could try again instead of being locked out completely.

I shall have a go at twcrosno.s suggestion of not using the pin to see if it works.

I have managed to get over the "wrong pin"  temporary using Admin's advice to re-set the phone (from Page 4) and follow twcrosno's suggestion of not using pin.

When the phone rebooted to a new condition I logged in with my Google account and forgot the pin totally.  I bypass the fingerprint and face recognition, which I know work ok, and now on a reboot I currently have no security.  The phone still indicates with a locked sign but when I swipe it I get my home screen back without doing anything.

I know it isn't a real fix but this allows me to investigate further if the phone worthy of keeping.

I am saddened UMI having pushed the phone out prematurely with such a dealer killer.  Like many of us here we do appreciate its products when they work normally.  The wife and I both run S2 Pro and I was attracted to the Ceramic version as it comes with the wireless charger.

However the wireless charger does not work well as indicated by other new user.  It works for a short time and then red light flashed indicating "metal foreign body state".  I suspect it is getting too hot.  The phone charges very well, nice, cool and fast with a USB cable.

Lastly I fully charge the phone 100% 24 hours ago but it was locked but switched on continuously.  I only managed to reset it an hour ago.  It still have 80% charge now so the new hardware and Android 8 appear to hold the charge very well.

I am quite impressed by the ceramic body as it is very smooth and can slide on a gentle slope.  The ceramic phone users please watch out.
