Those great guys bencebacsi and marcinP came up with the answer that it was a new revision of the Soc, something like MTK6757V instead of MTK6757C and thus it is not exactly the same harware.
We have been discussing about that for like 2 weeks now ;)

I have been waiting for the Nougat Update for over 6 months now. It is officially 18th of september 2017 but i am not sure if the UMI clock runs slower or not. I am sick and tired of this 'wait we are having issues', i aint gonna wait any longer. Either you reply by telling me that their will be an upgrade and give me evidence of that, or i will take this case to paypal and furthur more if i have to. I was promised a nougat upgrade from this company. Well done, you officially ripped me off. My phone still works well but if i do not recieve a reply regarding the update within the next week, Umi will run out of its luck. Im glad that The Australian Competition and Consumer Commision (ACCC) will follow the Australian Conslumer Law (ACL) against this brand. Just to recap, it has been 5 months since you clearly stated that i will get an Update. Waiting for a reply..

There is not same SoC as this is entry to p25 so p20 in z1 was modified to handle two cameras, changed frequency, etc, also RAM is different. We flashed those firmwares between those devices and unfortunately bricked both phones. Of course we recovered both devices with original firmware with firmware upgrade.

There is no straight answer.
You bought device from seller and some sellers informing that any updating or upgrading voiding warranty so software updating can't be point to complaining about it.
Still seller is taking responsibility of incorrect informations provided on his page.
Information about updating to android 7 was removed from advertisement way before pre sale so nobody confused customers as in pre sale and after that there was no promising to upgrading umi plus E to next version of firmware.
We spoke about possibilities to upgrade and as we informed engineers tried to do this but as you know so far there is no solution to do this.

I'm sorry to disappoint you but I would have NEVER EVER bought a smartphone at December 2016 if it wasn't advertised as it would receive Android 7.0No one in their right mind would buy a smartphone like that for 250 dollars.
The day I preordered the phone on Gearbest it was still advertised.

I just hope the S2 Pro won't have advertised features that won't come like you always do.
Just an example: what happened to NFC in the S2? What happened to the S2 Europa Edition? ;)

S2 pro is containing next generation of P20 SoC which is P25 and P20 entry level version  already supporting Android 7.
P20 entry level for P25 is used in Z1 and Z1 pro which is giving huge battery time lasting. Two days, including :screen on 8H, calls 1,5H etc without any sweating. Also is very powerful and support a lot decoders and way more networks bands with stronger signal.

Definitely i can't give you more information about pro version as is not available yet.
