Hi to everyone.

About camera issues, problems exposed here were reported to engineers and they are working to solve them.

On v1.7 flash is working better (synchronization between flash light and shoot of photo is better) but in dark pictures remain tu adjust a little. The problem with v1.7 is that some bugs not related with camera are present and you should wait until will be fixed
About autofocus not all users have the same problem, but anyway, is being checked by engineers

My rear camera becomes like that..4 days ago it was good, yesterday i tried to take some pictures i saw the issue..help please.

For test purpose, everybody suffers from this camera focusing issue should flash the v1.5 ROM with SP Flash Tool, choosing the 'Firmware Upgrade' option. That will completely rewrite the whole software content. That version had have being used by many users for a long time and nobody reported a such issue in that era. So. if the problem disappears after flashing, then that was caused by newer firmware versions. If not, then that's a hardware issue.

Nope, that's an IMX214. Where did you find that info claiming that there's not a Sony IMX214 camera inside the UMI Iron?

Hi every one!!

I think (hope) i found the solution to fix the autofocus issue that some of us have!
I don't know if it will work for every phones but at least it works for me!!!

Before the iron i had hammer with a camera that stop working with no reason, after few days i decided to open the back of the phone and have a look to the lense to see what happen... Then i realised that it was a problem of contact of the lense!!! with a bit of pressure on the upper corner the camera worked again! so i put a bit of alloy paper to keep the same amount of pressure and it worked!!!
So this morning i tried to to the same with my Iron, open it and tried to press a little bit the lense and tried to take some pictures and guess what... The focus worked!!!!
it is the exact same problem Once you press on the top of the lense the camera start focusing, if you release it it stop again...
So again, a bit of alloy paper (to get like 1mm extra) on each corner of the lense, close the phone again and it worked!
So finaly i have a camera that work (still a bad quality cam) better!!!
I hope it will work for other phone!!! Tell me if it is ;)

i will try to do some picture with my gf phone tonight but anyway it is really easy:
you take off the screws of the back cover,
then take off the 2 screws of the upper plastic cover.
Then try to take picture pressing smoothly the upper side of the lense to see if it focus again
If it works then you have to put something thin enough to press on it when put the plastic cover back ;)
Before to put the screws back just check that the focus still works, if it does not put something a bit bigger and if it does work just put everything back together
Less than 5mn!!!

by the way i installed the " camera FV-5" APK and it does much better picture than the stock one
