see they are naver product with out problems, from the beginning mr Been made it clear about waranty from the seller not from umi. so if your seller treat you bad then tolk about the seller so we your friends here wont fall victim, dont blem umi.

Problem is that the phone is shutting down when the battery  ...

The same is happening to me when it goes close to 50-60%. It just dies after that. Plus the charging time is a lot slower in the beginning. As for the battery being swolen I honestly think it is happening as the phone expanded a bit but when I opened the phone and removed the battery it seemed fine.
Do you guys know how to fix this?

these phones are very bad in all directions, but the gamble battery is really playing with fire. High quality SONY battery, lool

UMI phones are stylish and look really nice. The Umi engineers do an excellent job in design, they are vert smart and bring out a new phone almost every month. Now how brilliant is that! Also, my UMi Rome matches the design of my new Italian business suit and the back cover is exactly the same color as my new shoes. When I'm on business in my Italian suit and pull out my UMi Rome,  people at the business meetings are very impressed. The back cover also matches the color of my American Express Centurian Business card - another fantastic plus for the UMi Rome. Whow what a beautiful phone!

I've had the phone a little less than 11 months and it hasn't worked for the last 3 months. The battery has swollen to 4 times it's size and when the phone did work the phone got very hot. The screen doesn't work. I press one icon and something else loads.

But the fact that the UMi Rome doesn't work doesn't matter. It matches my suiit, shoes, charge card, so what else can I ask for in a mobile phone?

To troll all the threads you can find just because you had a bad experience doesn't help anyone.
I get it, its dissapointing when things break or stop working. Next time spend a few hunder dollars/euros more and buy a flashship from one of the bigger brands.

Yes you're right. It really is better to buy the brand, not to buy something that is just wrong. But write the truth and warn others of a similar disappointment is correct.
