UMI Super Screen replacement --> Touch KO

Don't flash the TWRP for UMi Super. That contains the old touch screen driver.
The next update for MAX is expected to be released this week, for Super next week by Wednesday.

Oh this is what I expect to know from UMI other than keep it ignorance, wishing the phone will more
usable smoothly, anyway tks "Bencebacsi"

Ofcourse I only read this post after already flashing TWRP to my Umi Super. Now my touchscreen is not working correctly. Flashing back to stock recovery does not work, but since they don't come with screen drivers I can see why.

Is there a way to update to the new screen drivers?

PS: Will this new ROM be available trought OTA ? Or will we need to download it and install it via other option ?

Yes, it should but I still couldn't have collected all the necessary information about this case. We unconditionally will solve this issue.

Yes, it will be available via OTA but I don't know yet whether the OTA or the flash tool version will be available first. To repair the incompatible touch screen driver, you'll probebly have to flash with SPFT.

Hi just I wanted to say that umi super is a good   smarhphone and it works great.
Unfortunately, however, 10 days ago partially broken the screen and touch does not work well ... only works on half screen.
I contacted a seller to buy a new screen and touch (it could have the manufacturer's warranty new smartphone buyed 2 mounths ago...however) the price made me not happy but I was sure to buy it and fix a phone that it still almost new, and only two months.
Now I read in the forum of further problems due to a screen change and I do not feel much more safe to fix it ... or keep the money to buy a new smartphone.
The manufacturer does not seem to give guarantees and solutions of this problem.
Bencebacsi Forum Moderator if you can contact me in formum or by e-mail for something more than a suggestion I need a solution for my problem please.

\n\nmy super came preinstalled with rom version 8-7 and ghost touches were horrible , I managed to install the latest update 10-8 and everything worked like magic until i decided to install twrp recovery then everything became horrible again the ghost touches came back. I flashed the latest update again but still the problem persist though less than before. would the new update solve this problem?
edit. the problem happens mostly when the phone temprature rise , for example when shooting a few minutes video with flash.
