I only tested with spotify and the button sounds on. I found that they were a bit softer, but I had done a factory reset after updating so maybe that helped. Previously I had reduced the headphone volume through the MTK engineering settings so maybe that made it sound a bit louder before.

It is definitely still there though.

Okay thanks for your answer Gruffles. I just have flash the ROM with Rootjoy without factory reset so my tweaks in MTK Engineer has been kept. Also thei situation is exactly the same as 1.5.
But we can see the kernel has been compiled the 21th August so we can say the popping issue was not discovered at this time.

Sorry skuhlight. This thread is not about hanging up. This thread is about electric clicking noises.

@everyone:
In the meantime I flashed and upgraded to 1.6
There is NO change. Problem persists.

Edited by ekopay at 2015-9-19 18:01 \n\nHi, when I connect my earphones to the phone and linten music or make a call, the sound is very cliccking.. I have tried several configuration changes, but nothing better. I have tried with 2 earphones and 1 headphones: one beats audio in ear, a normal/cheap earphone and a sony hear headphone. The problem is only with the first two, that are proper earphones. Both the earphones works good with all the other devices. The noise seems to increase when the volume is highter
there will be a fix for this?? otherwise the smartphones is useless with earphones...

Hi ekopay. You are not alone.
But no solution so far.
I hope 1.7 will fix this.

Put me into this category as well.  Hopeful of this being fixed, also the camera is nowhere near as good as it should be, lots of noise. Thirdly, somehow i'm not able to connect at proper USB speeds by cable to my PC.   USB drive still working fine at good speeds, but plugging in the Iron gives me the 'This Device Could Perform Faster...' message (Win7) and transferring files takes forever.  Is this a PC or Iron problem?

Hi Jonny! Sad to read you're on the list.
I can confirm with my Iron:
  • Camera is very noisy. Sample pictures from reviews are much better than what my Iron produces.
  • USB speed is ssllooooww (it is an Iron problem, alll other devices have much higher speeds)
