But it is possible to buy touch panel alone. So why it is selling?

I saw only glass (they said that this is digitizer) on aliexpress but I don't believe that this will work. I presume that you need buy separately lcd, then digitiser to put everything together. OGS glass can't be separated in to lcd, digitizer/glass. I found this link and by my opinion looks good as you have 2 connection one for digitizer and second for lcd https://m.aliexpress.com/popular ... r-touch-screen.html

I checked again and I would not recommend buying only digitizer. I would recommend replace lcd, with glass and frame as is much easier. If you are strong in repairing phones then you can buy only lcd with glass. Don't forget buy glue or double side tape /adhesive and correct tools. After replacing screen you need update phone incase driver is different (simply pick up latest ROM and update).

This what I know OGS glass is made in factory as one unit including lcd, digitizer and protection glass. I am not sure on 100% that this could be separated but if you remove your screen unit from phone you will see that there is no option to separate those units from OGS type.
The older type of screen units could be separated!!!! Because lcd is joined to digitizer and then to protecting glass by glue applied in factory.
You need a bit patience to repair this type of screen, heat gun, special type of table/tool (or poker card), new digitizer and protection glass.
Of course you no need believe me but this information are from my small experience. Definitely digitizer and glass must be available but only for factory as OGS must be made from this parts plus lcd of course but this doesn't mean that you can replace digitizer and glass.

I took apart the whole phone.

Hi
Could you write your post more clear. How you found that there is no gorilla glass? What is mean that there is only touch screen? What you try and separate from where? What is this mean "guys let me explain why you does not work"?

There is two main types of OGS glass.
First type is in-cell OGS which digitizer is made directly on glass.
Second type is on-cell OGS which digitizer is attached on glass.
Both types are not able to be separated as are made as one unit in factory.
From customer points difference is that if you crack in-cell type there is no more respond from touch but on-cell could respond partially (from crack to wire connection)
If somebody find some solution to separate OGS glass from LCD then another problem which you face will be get correct glue and avoid any dust and alien objects when you try put everything together.
I would not recommend this method.

Hi there, maybe I'm late for asking this question so sorry about that. But I'm confused, I'd like to buy a screen replacement for a friend's umi super. I found what I need on Aliex store but they said there's two types of screen on their store. Could you explain the difference between F-550028X2N-C vs. XL0553260B1-33#3. Thanks for your help.

Edited by R_totian at 2018-2-4 12:56 \n\nHello.
I am from Iran.
I have two phones umi super that have been broken. I bought two touches and LCDs that did not install any of them on the phone. Unfortunately, none of them was turned on. On touches and LCDs, a code A repair shop said that the same version of the touchpad and the LCDs should be the same. Please advise whether this is correct. On one of the Original touches this code U1 YQ193 V1 is written and purchased on the touch Code U1 YQ193 V2.
On the other hand, there is another code I've seen on the Internet to pay attention to. F-55028X2N-b
This F-55028X2N-C code is also written on the Touch.
Please give me guidance on which of the above codes should I pay attention to.
Thank you
