With no offence, I do not use phone camera. I prefer a dedicated camera.

I also use some other cameras.
CameraMX, A Better Camera, Snap Camera, Open Camera and Camera FV-5.
The result is thus indeed a little bit better, but it is far from what is promised.

But to stay on topic ...
The many reports of broken and scratched displays unsettled me a little.
UMi has made some big promises that have not really kept in reality.

I can say that my screen has not a single scratch in it. I'm using my Super for more than a month now. I am totally satisfied with the screen quality and I do believe it has Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3.

I don't have any problems with my UMi Super display.
However, I am surprised that here in the forum so many people report about their scratched and broken displays.
Is that the improper handling?

Well I wouldnt blame scratches on UMI SUPERs display on rough handling - personally I ve been using it for a month now and first small scratches appeared after a week or so. I ve been handling UMI SUPER exactly the way I handled Oppo Find 7a for 2 years and that one is still without a scratchmark. Not saying UMI is not using genuine Corning but if it does it certainly is pretty poor product. Could that lousy 2.5D glass be responsible in any way for being so easily scratchable?

I cant see any elephone devices on that list either. It doesnt appear to list any chinese devices besides the big ones huawei,xiaomi,zte and meizu.
I watched a stress test involving the umi super and the result showed that the screen scratched much easier than any other gorilla glass 3 device should and it cracked very easily showing that the screen is much softer than it should be.

No Corning Gorilla Glass 3 is scratched with a pick with hardness 3 like Umi Super. They even sent a phone to Jerry Rig Everything and he proved that the glass is software on Umi Super. So many promises made by Umi. All lies
