Hi, sorry for hijacking this thread, but the forum isn't letting me create a topic of my own for some reason...
I recently dropped my UMI Super, cracking both the touch buttons, and the LCD screen. I managed to get a hold of a replacement from Ebay for around £25, and this afternoon i took my phone apart, reapplied adhesive tape, and fitted the new screen. Now everything works other than one thing; The proximity sensor seems to be broken, or is obscured? For example, i can only unlock my phone with fingerprint, the phone thinks the proximity sensor is triggering, and shows a screen mentioning "do not cover this part of the screen".
How can i fix this? For now, my screen at least works like new, and i can access via fingerprint, but i thought i'd ask here in case anyone might know? Thanks... |
