I presently own 3 umidigi devices -
G, C Note & Z1 Pro. So far this Z1 Pro has been more problematic.
I also bought the Z Pro, that only lasted 20 minutes. Died after 20 minutes and completely died. Sent it back for full refund....
I believe in this brand, but not happy with their OTA bricking devices.
Also considering to buy the S2 Pro, once it's released (Europa Edition). But my heart seems to be wavering away to OP5T......
Hi, I hope I got the thread.
I bought the Z1 smartphone a few days after the last update, if the option to change the display color is active, the screen becomes white after a few seconds and even restart does not change anything, after a few seconds it becomes white. The only solution is to return to the factory data with the Hard reset.
Does anyone have a solution?

Recently got the Z1 Pro, which I like but the wifi is seriously dodgy on it. And to make matters worse you can't start a new thread on a support forum until you've contributed enough!

From my limited umidigi experience, I think your device is suffered from a partial brick.
A hard reset might not fix it, a full flash might be required.
I presume the WiFi strength on your device is low, incomparison to other connected devices?
I also would have to assume the fault is not from your router?
The WiFi on my Z1 Pro, is very strong and connects with good strength.
What's the version of the firmware on your device? Have you also tested GPS lock on strength?

Cost me £30.00. IMEI numbers are now visible on both sim card slots (no longer 1111111 or 2222222). But, the signal on SIM 1 is still very poor, hence returning to the shop tomorrow, to have it looked at again.
Before the IMEI crash, SIM 2 did not any signal at all, now the signal on SIM 1 is hit & miss.
One thing this experience has taught me, never update an Umidigi device via OTA ever again .......
Hi all,
I've a problem with the notification led:
when charging it becomes red and when finished charging green. that's ok but very often when I detach the charger the led remain on.. and the only way to to turn it off is to reboot the phone... it looks like a sw bug...
