For Christ's cake don't upgrade to this version - stick with Android 6 on your UMI Super.
All your pages of App links disappear and you have to drag them to the relevant pages again from scratch.
There is still no way of selecting, say, page 2 of your Apps as being your home page. (The first page of apps that are displayed after pressing the home button)

The 3 Barclays banking apps (the biggest bank in the world) no longer work, even after re-installing them - they just crash. I can no longer do online banking which to me is very, very serious.
The Audio profiles section in the pull-down at the top, are no longer there.
The split screen mode doesn't work if you use the 'real' buttons as opposed to the virtual buttons.
When GKeyboard is installed and you create a new keyboard, ie. English (UK), PC Style, you have to delete this keyboard and re-create the same one again, for it to work. (Even though you tell it it's a UK keyboard, the layout is still US style namely there is no Pound (£) key on SHIFT-3.
I am praying for an urgent bug fix - although I doubt this will happen.

Isn't it a good way to get people to subscribe to a forum - introducing bugs that stop your phone working properly???? They now have all our email address that they can sell onto the highest bidder.....

I'm now going to have to spend a couple of days setting up my spare UMI Super (Android 6) putting all the data and apps back to how they were when they all worked properly.


I am really pissed off with UMI for not testing this firmware before release...

Installed the ROM and I have none of the problems. Quick charge does not work. In regards to your apps, maybe not compatible with nougat!! I use banking app and works fine as compatible with nougat.

Please help me I install this update V7.01_20170123 last night from the phone settings and now the phone is not recognising my sim. As well is draining the battry very quick and is taking ages to charge too. Umi super model.

I have the same issue as a few of you, at first said unpacking for ages, then it now says rebooting. Left it for a couple of hours can back and still looks the same so reset it. I tried it with the SIM in and out, it is the same.
