I have installed it and besides the non-transparent task bar, this rom is not compatible with the TWRP recovery rom.
This is pretty annoying since I lost the Root access and I can't get it back.

It is still compatible with the provided TWRP. If you desrcibed your issue with it, maybe we could help you to resolve it.

You should release ROM for U.S users, adding 4g bands to support T-Mobile, AT&T etc 4g networks.
I am using T-Mobile and I get only 3g signals on both UMI Z devices I have, on the other hand I get full 4g signals on my Meizu Metal.
All devices are under same plan.

That also needs different hardware, not only a specific ROM. The Meizu Metal has four different versions with different band support.

I found a bug, when you disable the option power button instantly locks in security menu, set automatically lock up five seconds and use physical buttons. When the power button as pressed to lock the device and the power button as pressed again to unlock, the system active the fingerprint scanner, but the device was unlocked because don't pass 5 seconds, for example, the home physical button don't work because the fingerprint scanner was waiting to unlock.

Hello.

I just received my Umi Z and it comes with UMIDIGI Z V3.02_20170317 ROM. And by the way no issues to report except the Wifi battery issue that Marshmellow has in some devices.

But I search for OTA updates but this one UMIDIGI Z V3.02_20170411 ROM does not show up?

Should I wait, or is there some issue with my updater?

Regards,

Hi,
Yes, please wait for a few days and try again (the service capacity of the OTA server is limited) or you can download the OTA file here and install it manually.
Sincerely yours

Hello.

Thank you so much for your reply.

I just have another question regarding upgrades.

If a new update comes out before I update to UMIDIGI Z V3.02_20170411 can I jump the UMIDIGI Z V3.02_20170411 and update to the new version directly.

Or they are not cumulative and I have to upgrade them one at a time.

Regards and thank you again,

Hello.

Thank you so much for your reply.

You shouldn't have to update one at a time. Also, the phone will do it automatically so don't worry
