My Z is doing the same - found it in VR and tried the Settings for g-sensor without effect - than I saw it in Earth&Moon 3D Background.

Everything is fine if this will be our only problem and it´s been fixed in the near future.

Any news from the software engineers team? When we will have a firmware update to fix this issue?

As you might know the largest and damn near only Chinese holiday have just ended, i am sure the minions are hunched over their computers working hard to fix things.

It is taking a lot of time to launch a new firmware.
I am almost sending my phone back. I am afraid to keep it and that the problems will never be solved.
I will wait no longer than 5 more days.

Hi pedrosimao!

We all have to wait now and give UMI a little bit time.
Every UMI smartphone got more than two updates, so I'm hopeful that they are working at the bugs.
I would be patient for some time and wouldn't send my UMI Z back now.

On the other side, it would be very kind, if UMI could provide us with a feedback like "We are working at the problem, an update will come in the next one or two weeks", or similar.

My gyro is 90 degrees rotated as well, the camera focus is also terrible, especially with laser focus on and the fingerprint sensor is picky.

Just the usual complaints, I'm also waiting for the fix for the gyro, wich is an inadmissible flaw in a device, whatever the price.

I can confirm that this has been fixed! It's no longer rotated by 90º with today's update via OTA.
