Thanks for your answer. I will take your advice. The warranty is out of question, since, as I stated in a post before, the process is too expensive and time-consuming. It would take more than two months to get it fixed, so I'm gonna stick with what I got. I love my Max and I'll try to find ou tmore about this issue. Maybe the fingerprint scanner will improve or I will not use it. I don't really care anymore. Frankly, my biggest frustration about it is the fact that is goes off standing on the desk, with no input from me and this is bugging me.
