Don't worry, it will be resolved at least in the final version. Until that, if you want to keep the beta on your phone but also need fast charging, you can still fast charge your phone while it is turned off. Anyway the fast charging still works at 12V but the charging current is often going to be reduced to 0.35A, what is just the third value of the normal current. That causes the slower charging.

No, you can't. They have different hardware parts, starting with the LCD. The first beta ROM for the Super will be released today as planned.
