Edited by DANIBOY77 at 2015-12-12 00:43 \n\n Edited by DANIBOY77 at 2015-12-12 00:43 \n\njust whether or not there will be an update on the Emax , or see if a new device will come out, at least one answer that many expect , even bad, but a response will allow users to wait to buy a new UMI and calm it that will say nothing !
If we have an answer at least Umi does not remain indifferent and takes the trouble to answer, then I would buy, but a company may then be insensitive = I never buy again.

Thanks for your involvement

Hi, though Umi Zero uses a different processor (MT6592) could following article be of any influence/interest of getting lollipop for the Emax?

Edited by marceljanssen at 2015-12-18 15:31 \n\nI have sent an email to the salesdepartment. My email:

*****
I have a question. When is the UMI Emax being update to Android Lollipop? Phone is getting outdated and your advertisement is promising an update to Android Lollipop. I want to recieve a honest anwer and not an answer to keep the customer quit. And a promise you can keep.

Please do not refer to the forum or Facebook, because there is no reliable answer or you don't get a reliable anwer.
*****
This was their anwer:
*****
I don't have any information about updates, all the official information about updates are made on the official umi facebook page.
*****

They just won't give an anwer. I think we just have to wait what happens and if you want lollipop soon, you have to buy a new phone.

Don't expect a lollipop upgrade for eMAX, that won't be released. There's a guy (engineer, software programmer, who knows") who's still working on it, but he has the chance to make it done as you have the chance to reach the Moon on a bicycle.
The core of the above information comes from a close to the leadership UMI employee.
So I repeat, don't expect further (official) upgrades for the UMI eMAX smartphone. That won't happen.

For this reason, there is a good chance that my next phone is elephone or another brand, but I will not return to UMI and I am certainly not the only one ....

Very too bad because I just thought UMI is at least polite to say themselves
