That's some kind of stupid limitation of youtube. If you change the android version to 5.0 or 5.1 ...

One more reason to get a real update from UMI, instead of having to edit build.prop for that.

No, it doesn't. The system never modifies the build.prop file.

That's a ported ROM and some values are not changed in the hw description, that's all. The front camera resolution and the screen type are not correct as well.
I simply used ES File Explorer to edit the build.prop since that already was installed on my phone and it has root explorer function + a built-in text editor.
