Have someone from UMI looked already at other Android 5.0 or 5.1 ROMs from other Chinese manufacturers? After all, UMI did not invent the wheel with the eMAX and there are plenty of other Chinese phones based on exactly the same HW platform (or a very similar one with only very few differences, i.e. 3G RAM instead of 2G RAM) - a good example running Android 5.1 is Ulefone Be Touch 2 or one running Android 5.0 is Lenovo Lemo K3 NOTE.
Should be a used emax really cheap or a person who would be willing to break his phone trying to get the version 5.0 with UMI (the one with the bugs ) to work on this.
UMI will not be updated this rom but at least they may be sharing ?
Hi guys let's provide neggative feedback on the UMI official facebook page. At least new users will know that UMI is not the best company to wait for any ROM updates and support.
This is what I do , not negative goal, but Umi if possible to influence and create awareness ... We must at least try , and you are right to invite forum people to go to the Fb page of UMI to comment on their page ! Yes ! Good idea

That's some kind of stupid limitation of youtube. If you change the android version to 5.0 or 5.1 in the system\build.prop file and restart your phone, then you'll be able to choose the 1080p resolution in youtube.
