being electrician , and in addition i work in batteries , I can confirm the actual capacity of Emax and is 3800mAh, now you must know that you use 85% maximum , as with any other lithium battery, it is normal to not completely empty a lithium battery !

the material is still good on the Emax but the big downside is software update , and I'm 100% agree with you for this !
I have the Emax still, but would never buy an other UMI phone, if there UMI at no update!

Traders are just too lazy to update their ads. You can find a lot of such listings net-wide. UMI is  ...

The update is still advertised on the page FB UMI , nothing has been changed in the product specifications ( and fortunately, how to do this "after" !)
Why UMI does not communicate at all the above ? It can enlighten us be?

If you confirm the real 3780 mAh of the battery i am glad that UMI at least did not cheat their costumers on this aspect, but i can not support a brand that fail to acomplish what is on paper.

The Emax is ok but not just great because of the software issue, like i said on other topic, such a waste to have this hardware stuck on 4.4 and a phone that with the specs that has should be receiving Marshmallow in next months not even Lollipop 5.1 will get.

Nobody was expecting 24 months of software updates but if there is brands with 5.1 on Mt6752 that show it is possible if they want to and Lenovo K3 with a similar pricetag will get even Marshmallow.

This situation about Lollipop on eMax is total bullshit from UMI but also is difficult to understand the lack of interest from the community on porting Lollipop to eMax when you have it on other Mt6752 devices, and see devices with 3/4 years and obsolete hardware getting it.

Would like to have clarification from UMI! I was on the phone with Android 5.0 or 5.1!

and don't want to think that all of us have been cheated!

We are wrong. Yes we are wrong to expect a Lollipop release, from a company that does not fix a small bug such as not resetting battery stats.

On the other hand I believe there is an hardware issue on touchscreen for ghost touch issue. I am facing same ghost touches time to time. And I found a temporary workaround. I think ghost touches may occur because of small dusts on screen. When I face ghost touch, I lock the screen and wipe all dusts with a cloth. Than ghost touch disappears for a while, until have new dusts. So this must be a hardware issue.

I would love to try to port 5.1 from other devices, the problem is that emqx is the only mobile I have and if it bricks I have no idea how to reset it and what's more, this is a daily phone for me. If I had another one I could even try do to something.

EDIT:
has anyone tryied to do this? if yes, did it work?

I heard that today, already 4 different professional development teams (Chinese and western as well) were hired to create a lollipop upgrade for the eMAX but all of them failed. Now they're starting a new round. This project is still has not given up.
The Zero will get an official lollipop upgrade via Rootjoy in a week, so maybe we will also get it sooner or later for the eMAX.
