This is official and not from lazy traders :

The only laziness i see here is from UMI the way they are working on the update to be released or even to update their official page about the product that still lead consumers on expecting a Lollipop update.
In my case i am tired of waiting for something that was a fact when the phone was released and many people like me bought eMax legitimately expecting it considering what was advertised at launch and still is as i showed before, if i knew that eMax would be stuck at 4.4 with an unpolished OS (that what V05 is with wakelocks and battery stats not reset among other minor issues), i would never had bought it.
Luckly for me, eMax is not my only smartphone and will be on selling list shortly, Oneplus One, LETV X600, Asus Zenfone 2 or even Mstar S700 (yes a mt6752 with Lollipop out of the box on a cheaper smartphone than eMax) is to blame for my lack of accommodation on what UMI delivers.
Brands like UMI has to learn that dumping cheap and good looking phones in the market is not enough and have to step up in terms of honesty (updates/battery mAh real capacity) and official software support, eMax should be getting 5.1 and even 6.0, i did not expect 24 months of updates but zero/null/none like is going to be the case of eMax is a joke of bad taste for who spent +-150$.
If UMI concept of software update is the consumer to buy a new UMI smartphone every 6 months, well, good luck with that because they are going to need it.
Over and out. |
