Having trouble installing GAPPS from ROOTJOY recovery. I downloaded both the micro and full versions ...

Did you use the original recovery (which is installed with Rootjoy) or MDS recovery? The latter can be found Here in the forum

I was definitely accurate (at this time). I said the most spoken FOREIGN language is English. That means the most spoken secondary language. Do you copy?
I knew that order of native languages that you mentioned but that's really not important at a place that's visited by people of a lot of different nations. Although Mandarin is the most spoken native language, no Chinese people expect from me to learn Chinese but they learn English instead to be able to communicate with people of other nations.

No ,,,, I used the stock recovery that shipped with the device. Should that make a difference ? I want to be able to get ota updates ::::

i haved the same problem, but solved
the error is to download the wrong gapps packet
you MUST download the link from the 4th http://community.umidigi.com/for ... 8&fromuid=17030 post
with this no problem
when you restart the phone lunch G+ , it ask for installing the play services, click ok

Can I install the Gapps if I have already installed most of then?? Or I have to restore to default settings??

Install 1.8 first with TWRP first. Just to be sure id doesn't interfere with other gapps.
If you don't format the /data partition, no user data will be deleted, but do a backup to be sure.
