Usb Type C , Too longer plug

I did it the other way. I grinded off the aluminium around the USB-Port, now every cable fits without any Problems.
I can here a slight "click" by connecting and can even hold it upside down.

hi everyone, here from italy, i have 1 umi plus and 2 umi plus e in home and i've bought Sunvito Adapter https://www.amazon.it/Sunvito-Ad ... words=sunvito+usb+c
and they enter perfectly and work good with the thousands of mini usb cable you have.

Finding longer tip cables for charging (with an USB-A connector) doesn't fix the problem with connecting other devices (e.g. USB Type C HDMI adapter).
I would like UMIdigi to offer a Type C to Type C adapter (e.g. 10 - 20 mm long) that just offers the possibility to connect whatever Type C equipment we want to rather than being left to only use the provided charging cable and nothing else, save self hacked half-assed solutions with knifes at home...
I would gladly pay to receive an adapter that enables me to connect anything that I want to. This would also be a great way for UMIdigi to save face and avoid a lot of badwill and irritation. In the end this issue might well cause many customers to abandon UMI in favour of some other brand due to this issue.
So... UMIdigi - please do us and yourselves a big favour and provide an adapter for us to buy!

I have solved that problem with a knife or an chizato. Try to cut some plastic arrond the plug.

Ihave the same problem and think it really bad that Umidigi have not bothered to respond - making replacement cables available is NOT a lot to ask. I bought two of these but will not be buying umidigi again while they  don't feel they should address this simple problem

absolutely right there - as what company would refuse to supply necessary spares like this for an expensive product like this??

I just don't understand your complaints as you can buy USB wires on aliexpress and before purchasing ask seller for compatibility to your device also they can forward information to you about cable, plug length etc.
