I too was just getting ready to purchaand the Umi Plus tired of the high prices and little support:I agree with ocv1269 that there are several options if at all possible should be added for North Americans:
1.  Wifi a/b/g/n/ac ,
2.  the ability to use wifi for calling
3.  NFC  ,
4.  Additional bands to pick up signal  LTE Band 70Mhz (28 , 28 APT), LTE CAT 9, GPS revision- higher accuracy GPS (Or correct internal GPS anntena Connectors),
5.  Bluetooth 4.1 min,  higher accuracy GPS (Or correct internal GPS anntena Connectors),
6.  Built in equaliser for the HIFI chip, BEST QUALiTY OF SPEAKERS (Not Only the HIFI CHIP),
7.  Offer this phone with Clear Case Protector., More TX2-1 Protection Screen.


You have proven yourselves to be up and coming plus know we are watching and anticipating the final outcome; AND ONE MORE THING

Me interesa esta nueva versión. Me compré el UMI SUPER euro pero lastimosamente me lo robaron. Ahora quiero comprar el Extreme UMI PLUS. Me gusta la versión azul, supongo que será como la del Umi SUPER EURO; esa es muy buena. ¿cuándo es la fecha estimada de lanzamiento?

Today I see that they have already pre-sold the UMI Plus E (Extreme) for $ 199.99, and its base price is $ 269.99, with more RAM (6GB) and ROM (64GB), faster processor (Helio P20 - 2.3Ghz), better GPU .... but we are still the same without:

- Wifi 802.11ac
LTE band 28, 28 apt (700 Mhz)
- NOT NFC available.
- Better GPS.
- Bad Sound (Same Chip, Same speakers).
- Heavier than average.

If we remember the presale prices of the UMI Plus a few months ago was $ 179.99, and the UMI Plus E is at $ 199.99, that means that for only $ 20, it was more important to increase power and performance (more expensive) than compatibility with standards and improvements Of what was failing ?, and if for $ 20 they changed that, they would do with $ 90.00 of the regular price ??

What is the use of a faster phone in its performance and more storage, if not compatible with newer technologies (NFC, Global LTE Band, 82.11ac Wifi, better GPS, Sound ... etc) ?? , And that in fact would not have cost more than what was invested in its current improvements ???

The UMI Plus, is an excellent phone for the price I had, just like this ... and now want only 2 months the same phone with better capacity and performance (UMI Plus E), but with limited compatibility?

It would be good if UMI would use nano injection moulding for the plastic sections as the current method looks cheap and nasty.

Also fixing the rattling power/volume keys would be nice
