I think it would be best for someone to take out some custom rom (maybe lineage?)

It hurts the failures that it has and I do not see that they are improving

After the V2 upgrade that is one of the "full" Facebook issues I also saw. Now I use Facebook Lite, which fixed the problem.

I just really hope that umidigi keeps on sending FOTA updates )imporving updates!) and not stopping support like they did with the S2 series...
I still feel like they are not testing what they release and we we users are the testers sending back information, which is the worst strategy as I am not a child playing with the phone but a professional businessman using banking and other important apps, now I am carrying both Z2 and Z2 pro to be sure to be online all the time - and this is not the solution I wanted.

I have an A1 PRO and I have updated to V2.
With this update I've no more the "gallery" app and, REALLY MORE IMPORTANT, the "settings" app chrashes.
My opinions about these two arguments:
1) gallery could be replaced with "Google photos" but I don't want save my photos in a cloud! I want to be free to have my photos in my mobile!
2) The "settings" app is fundamental to customize and use correctly my smartphone: how can I solve it?

If the settings app crashes I'd recommend a factory reset.
As for Google photos, there is a setting not to synchronise your phone and that's all.

About G-photos I know about what you say, but I never have used this service because of my contrariety to this ideology....

Make a backup before you do a factory reset. Check that the e-mail of your account is set for the backup and when you re-log into your account on first start of your phone, everything will be restored (apps, contacts, app preferences)

This is the problem: I have NOT setted my account for the backup, with my past mobiles I've always made local backup with the recovery... I'm thinking to install TWRP and make a backup from there: to install it I need root, right?

i go back in previous version, new update comes with some bug, its not stable
