Umidigi phones not using LTE logo (as you called) but 4G. Also VoLTE logo will not appear because we not using this in our phones.
Please be in very strong signal strength and then prepare voice call, if 4G icon remain this will indicate that you are in VoLTE.
Also please check with network provider that the sim card is supporting VoLTE and that you no need special settings or different bundle.

For me it is locked, and cannot add or modify APN, called carrier and told me it is the phone.

My battery lasts for a couple of days with moderate use. A day with heavy use.

Had this phone for roughly three days. Had OTA updates. Overall good phone.
However i have noticed issues like music app force closing and low signal strength. My mobile 4g data drops intermittently as well. Especially when going to one place to another, i will notice my mobile data showing 4g with an x...when trying to browse the web it says i'm offline. Had to switch to airplane mode then switch off airplane mode to get my mobile data back. Hope this is fixable with an OTA and not a hardware issue.

My A1 pro never lost mobile data.
Please remove sim card and check for correct position.
Also please shake your phone to check for poor contact in sim tray

MarcinP, regardless i still would like the mobile data/signal strength issue to be looked at or investigated. How about the music app force closing? I already updated to latest and did a factory reset, issue still persists. Thanks
