So what will you say about Samsung note 7????
Umi super charging cut off is at 46°C which cause firstly reducing current flow and if this is not enough then is reducing charging voltage too.

The Note 7 is a well published story with an open reason as to why the batteries exploded.
We are talking about Umidigi,and why they are having battery issues....My point is still
relevant... Why are the batteries expanding,and why have some,quite clearly exploded.Umidigi
are fortunate that no one has gone to the media about this as it would finish Umidigi as a phone manufacturer.
So,how about you get this problem sorted and ensure retailers have the batteries in stock so we can buy them.
Remember.. Samsung recalled all defective devices and customers were given full refunds and/or given a replacement.
That's how to treat customers....Umidigi should do,at least,something similar,for those of us who have defective batteries.

Batteries for umi super are constantly available on aliexpress for around $7 etc and there was only few reports from users about EXPANDED battery but never about exploded battery.
We never experienced such issues on any our testing devices.
Also battery for umi Z is available now for around $15-20.

You would be incorrect then. I never use my phone while charging save for checking any notifications I might receive in the intervening time. I would hardly qualify that as heavy usage.

PS: It still does get very warm during charging.

You can install 3c battery widget to monitor battery temperature. Under normal charging should be up to 42 - 43C

One battery or a thousand batteries should make no difference.
It is still something the company should put right.why should customers have to buy a replacement
battery when there is obviously a defective product.just because your test examples
didn't have issues,it doesn't mean they don't exist.

Did you ever heard about that warranty is not covering wear and tear. So to let you know while you using and charging phone your battery is wearing and tearing so is not warranty. Battery is only covered for 6 months under warranty.

Sorry for being a pain but what you say is only appliable with phones with a removable battery. This is not the case with umi super. If you try to replace the battery you loose the warranty because you have to dismantle the phone. All major company have this policy.
