Sorry guys but other phones ROM not supporting umi plus E. You can only brick your phone and then you need format + download original firmware with SPFT.
I was told by engineers that the SDK provided by MTK not supporting motherboard but nobody said exactly which hardware cause this. So Ben was searching what exactly could cause such inconvenience and we came to conclusion that only one hardware could cause this which is DDR4 6GB dual channel RAM.
Some users mentioned that they want use umidigi Z1 firmware that why I informed that this firmware will brick umi plus E as we tested this already.

hélas non aucune. Ceci dit, vu la qualité (...) des ROMS upgrade en 7.0 je suis pas sur que ce soit une super idée. En tout cas, une mise à jour du patch de sécurité Android serait beaucoup plus importante et urgente (version actuelle d'origine, donc de...janvier 2017 !) y a juste quelques centaines de failles de sécurité majeures corrigées depuis...lol

let me understund ,
umi design the plus E onto some specification from MTK, this specification allows us to use dual channel DDR4 , and it's work fine with android 6.0
now MTK release the SDK for android 7.0 , and remove the support (or never implement it) for dual channel DDR4 ??
Das Umi Plus E ist das erste und auch direkt das letzt Smartfone von umiDIGI. Ich kaufe in Zukunft wieder nur von Elephone. Die liefern spät, aber die liefern.
