Edited by chooks06 at 2017-6-8 23:27 \n\nTo repeat part of what is already in the link provided..

Make sure phone has above 50%, in fact the more the merrier. Trust me.

Power down phone.

Hold Vol+ AND power button.

Release power button when you see the menu options in very small fonts.

Use the Vol UP button to navigate to recovery mode.

Use the Vol DOWN button to select.

Phone reboots and you see a dead Android - No Command.

Hold Power Button and tap Vol UP button. Phone will now reboot into recovery mode and you will see a menu.
From here things change...
Use the Vol UP or DOWN buttons to navigate. Go to "Wipe Cache". Use POWER button to select.

When done you'll see the recovery menu. Now navigate to "Wipe data/factory reset". Use POWER button to select.

WARNING - any operation in the recovery mode may take some time. That's why maximum battery juice preferred. DO NOT POWER OFF WHILE IT IS RUNNING EVEN THOUGH IT LOOKS LIKE IT'S HUNG.

When phone has been reset, recovery menu appears again. Navigate to reboot and select.  Phone will restart and you should see the first like you got the phone out of the box.. Nothing you saved previously will exist.

I accept no responsibility of your phone is bricked or damaged through this instructions.

All the best!

Hi guys , just purchase the z pro recently. After yesterday update to 7.1.1 , i'm experiencing random reboot of the phone. Just read up afew post and saw that some users advise to do a factory reset.

Can anyone advise? Thank you.

Had similar issues after the OTA yesterday. Phone still reboots randomly, sometimes there are some noises coming out of the spearker and then it looks dead (black screen) nothing happens and i need to force a reboot.

So far noone seems to have fixed it by factory reset, so I am waiting for at least a few reports that the factory reset actually solved the problem for anyone....

Edited by Abituria at 2017-6-11 15:19 \n\nHi to all,

I have the same issue with one Z Pro afte the OTA-Update (the other one works properly).
I tried several times to solve the problem by performing a factory reset and clear eMMC and installing it localy.
Nothing worked really...

That´s really sad, because before the update the Z Pro was a really good one...

I hope that they will provide a quick fix; now the phone is more or less garbage...

Go to settings - backup and reset - factory data reset. This will wipe all your data (pictures, texts, etc.)
