UMI SUPER GPS PROBLEMS

I managed to get my antenna using copper foil. Now my GPS find many satellites and quickly, but it still does not follow as I move, is jumping my position. Is there any way to adjust it?

I Am from Greece and i have my UMI SUPER a few days now.I updated to  V3.02_20160810 and it works
perfect.....all the time is in 4G mode and the touch screen is great.....the only existed minor problems that i noticed are..1st the camera and 2nd the GPS..Problems that UMI will fix in a short time i want to believe with the next FOTA update.

I have got an Umi Iron. GPS is working perfect. My girlfriend has the Super...she got problems..

Hey guys i have a UMI Super too and sometimes i have GPS problems too but only when i use the mobile data... At home i use wi-fi and the GPS is really accurate to the meter. When i'm outside and i use mobile data 75/80% of the times its accurate even when im in the car, the problem is when im inside building or there is alot of trees around me. But i used to had alot of GPS problems.

What did i did? I only used google maps and pressed the blue icon which means your location and if you are not in the correct position then correct it. It took me 1 time before last update, but after it, it took me 3 or 4 times. Yes i still have some issues sometimes but they are rare...

Btw i also use the full body cover and i think it doesn't affect the gps signal, still could be better like the gps signal from iphone 6. When i go play pokemon go  with my gf she has a better gps signal than me... Hope i could help

here a Umi MAX owner with exactly the same GPS problems.

To me, it seems that an official answer from UMI should be said.

It looks like a heavy engineering/batch problem with both Super and Max (which are basically the same in terms of components, housing and drivers). My guesses are that UMI Plus would have the same issue. Bad prospects for the yet-to-come UMI flagship.

Then, I see a lot noise in this thread. I would say to split it up into two separate threads:

- UMI Super/MAX GPS problem reporting.
- UMI Super/MAX GPS fix

For the first one I would suggest the following fields to be completed by each user:

- World area/country:
- ROM:
- Brief GPS problem explanation:

For a FIX I would ask for:

- World area/country:
- ROM:
- Fix requires rooting?:
- Brief GPS fix explanation:

Buongiorno purtroppo DOPO L'ultimo aggiornamento installato un fine settembre nel mio umi eccellente il GPS non funziona come prima non riesce ad aggangiare i satelliti e QUANDO lo fa salta subito DOPO Pochi secondi.Cosa Posso tariffa? AIUTO Sono sempre in giro con la macchina per lavoro e servire tantissimo il navigatore.Grazie
